August Assembly Meeting of Turkish Chamber of Shipping

At the August Assembly Meeting of our Turkish Chamber of Shipping (İMEAK DTO), with the participation of Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mr. Durmuş Ünüvar and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Mehmet Kemal Bozay, we had the opportunity to evaluate current developments closely concerning our maritime sector. During the meeting, we had the opportunity to assess the latest developments that could affect maritime trade and our seafarers in our region, as well as the risks of significance in terms of navigational safety. I also shared the sensitivities of our maritime community on these matters, the expectations from the field, and our views that could contribute to the resolution process. I believe that in such sensitive times, strong communication and coordination between our public institutions and the sector are of great importance for the safety of our maritime trade and the security of our seafarers.
