Breakfast Meeting with WISTA Türkiye

During our visit to WISTA Türkiye, we discussed the stronger presence of women in the sector, clearing the path for youth, and strengthening equal opportunities in maritime. The development of our maritime sector is also about how well we harness the potential of our human resources. Women and youth need to take on greater responsibilities not only in the future of maritime, but in its present as well; they must become more visible in decision-making mechanisms, in management, and in the field. To achieve this, we must offer stronger opportunities spanning from education to employment, from mentorship to leadership.
